Zumba in class

Today after our learning some of the room 10 students did Zumba. There were three songs that we had dancing 1. Better when i'm dancing 2. Ants are marching down in the ground in the rain 3. was whip nae nae.

Digital Immersion

Garry from Digital Immersion. We learnt to programmed a robot to move from one place to the another by programming it.
It used a very special language called binary. It was hard to use it but then we got the hang of it and started working. We also looked a the words and they had colors like blue and purple. Its was called on and off . We used a app that was called mBlock is an app that you could code the robots what you ask them to do. 

In fact robots are actually dumb but they are not dumb if we tell them what to do. Like an example if i told you to move 2 spaces and your  next to the eage you will say "nah" or "why should I" but if you code and to move 2 spaces i will do it and fall down. My  group had heaps of fun but in the begging it was very   challenging, and wish to go and have another session with him again

Human knot

Human knot

This morning room 10 and i went to kiwi can after gymnastics in the hall. When we went to kiwi can we had a topic and a theme the topic was Problem solving and theme was resilience. When we finished talking about it we went to our Game. The game was called human knot when we were playing the teacher told us how to play we spited into two groups but it was boys vs girls. It was difficult but we mannered to untie our selves.


How to play

  1. Split into two groups you could do boys vs girsl
  2. lift you right hand up and hold that person hands that is across of you (Not next to you)
  3. Then you try to untangle your hands like a circle.

What makes things glow?

Materials:
Highlighter
½ cup of water in a clear cup
Purple & blue cellophane
Scissors
Torch
Tape
Blue and purple sharpie


Method:
  1. Dissolve highlighter ink in ½ cup of water and leave to absorb
  2. Cover the torch with purple cellophane then blue (first form of light)
  3. Cover torch with tape and colour with blue sharpie, tape again then blue again,

    1. tape then colour using purple sharpie (2nd form of light)
    2. Go to dark room and shine the light on the cup of coloured water
